Heritage

We recognize that each resident at The Heritage is a unique person with individual strengths, needs and potential. The care of these individuals is not just a job to us, but a personal ministry to provide the same level of love and concern they have given to others throughout their lives.

Staff

We select our staff carefully to ensure that the threads of care, compassion and respect are woven securely into the fabric of your loved one’s life. A personalized, one-on-one visit is conducted with each new resident and family to identify individual needs and activity level. This information is used to develop a plan of comprehensive care that will provide a high quality of life and meet the physical, mental and emotional needs of each person.

24 - Hour Nursing

In the beautiful neighborhoods, we provide 24-hour nursing care to ensure the safety and health of each resident. Skilled rehabilitation, restorative care, long-term placement, respite care, and hospice care are all vital parts of the on-going services we offer. In addition, services such as non-skilled, occupational, physical and speech therapies, dental, podiatry and optometry care and psychological and audiologist services are provided to all residents as they are needed.

Involvement & Activity

Daily involvement and activity are important aspects of remaining mentally and physically fit. We offer a wide range of activities to meet the varying interests of our residents. From relaxing times such as rides in the country, movies and tea with friends, to more active events like bowling, bingo and music, the staff plan new activities daily to stimulate mind, body and soul. Although no one is required to participate in these events, the spirit and fun is often contagious.

Meals

Mealtimes are designed to create a relaxing family atmosphere. Meals are served in the warmth and comfort of The Meadows, our bright and spacious dining room and are times that are eagerly anticipated by the residents. Food is prepared on-site under the direction of the Food Service Manager. We always consider personal preferences and offer a variety of appetizing, nutritious foods. In short, we serve meals we would be happy to serve to our own families. For persons who need assistance during mealtimes, meals are available in one of two Diners’ Clubs.

Peace of Mind

We know it is difficult to see a loved one’s level of independence diminish and it is not easy to leave that person in the care of another. We hope that after you see our facility and experience the high level of care, personal attention and compassion we provide, you will have peace of mind that your relative is receiving the same attention and love you would give at home.
