The State of Ohio mandates the fees for recording documents with the county recorder’s office. There is an explanation of the state’s fees on the Ohio Recorders website. These fees are also governed by Ohio Revised Code section 317.32. Exceptions to these fees can be found in Ohio Revised Code section 317.09.
